The 2,0 engine was rebuilt in 2009 and covered only a few thousand miles since.
The engine is sweet and runs well, new alternator, dizzy, voltage regulator and coil fitted last month, this model is fitted with servo brakes so actually stops and will cruise along at 70mph all day long. full stainless header and exhaust also fitted earlier this year.
The bodywork is fully restored with new panels as required, all work being professionally carried out by marque specialist, lots of pics available. Underneath is super clean and solid, the beam looks to be unwelded which is very rare for a Type 2, new proper van tyres all round, inside the textile upholstery looks unmarked and virtually brand new, sink cooker and fridge all work well on gas,12v and 240v.
There are bills on file for £8,600 but total expenditure far exceeds this, judging by its show condition inside and out.
Unusually the van also has an Eberspacher heater fitted so it keeps you and your passengers nice and warm.
