1967 Jaguar Mk2 2,4 Litre Manual/Overdrive
One of the greatest saloon cars of all time, the compact Jaguar Mk2, and here is a very well preserved example which has been extensively restored over a number of years but which could have been completed just yesterday judging by its stunning appearance, will let the accompanying photographs of the exterior and interior speak for themselves.
All usual Jaguar luxury refinements with acres of polished walnut and real leather upholstery.
2,4-Litre engine which displays textbook oil pressure and has recently been fully tuned. Manual gearbox with overdrive, it also displays only 53,000 miles which may be accurate.
Recent expenditure of over 4,500 pounds shows the Jag has been well cared for previously.

The Mk 2 Jaguar, introduced in 1959, was a fast and capable saloon. It came with a 2.4, 3.4 or 3.8 litre XK engine. The 3.4 Litre and 3.8 Litre cars were fitted with twin SU HD6 carburettors and the 2.4 Litre with twin Solex carburettors. Compared to the Mark 1, the appearance of the car was transformed by an increase of 18% in cabin glass area. The car was re-engineered above the waistline, slender front pillars allowed a wider windscreen and the rear window almost wrapped around to the enlarged side windows. The radiator grille was amended and larger side, tail and fog lamps repositioned. Inside, a new heating system was fitted, with ducted air to the rear compartment. There was an improved instrument layout that became standard for all Jaguar cars until the XJ Series II. From its introduction, the Jaguar MkII developed a strong following in many walks of life. With wonderful styling and a race-bred engine and four-wheel disc brakes and the ability to carry five passengers at great speed, the car proved to be a great success.
