1954 Ford Zodiac Mk1 Beautiful two-tone paintwork in Dorchester Grey over Bristol Fawn with toning new leather interior, White wall tyres, Full Sun Visor, Rim embellishers. Twin Spots. Subject of a complete dismantle and meticulous rebuild. This car is as beautiful on the underside as it is on the top. Fully polished and detailed engine bay. A very handsome and rare car, one of the finest you will ever see.
Acquired by the last owner in 2006 who fastidiously serviced it and maintained it to exhibition standards. He never drove the car in wet weather and only used it to travel to local car shows where it scored highly in Concours competitions, winning ‘Best of Show’ at Norton, Sheffield in August 2006.

The Zodiac was the luxury version of the (Monte Carlo Rally-Winning) Zephyr. The very first model with Zephyr 6 on the bonnet and boot, with Gold Zodiac scripts on the wings. The Ford Zephyr was launched at the 1950 Earls Court motor show (along with its smaller brother the Ford Consul).
The Zephyr went into production in January 1951, with the higher specification Zodiac following in 1953. Both cars featured an all new engine design and were also the first Fords (along with the Consul) to feature MacPherson Strut front suspension. Production of all models ended in February 1956 with the introduction of the Mk II
